Panram Product Warranty

Panram Product Warranty

("Panram" or the "Company") warrants that all products have been thoroughly tested for defects in materials and processes and meet the published specifications. If your Panram product fails during the warranty period due to defects in the original materials and processing under normal environmental use, Panram will provide warranty service in accordance with the following terms.

Product Warranty

  1. Panram products are warranted from the original purchase date of the Panram product. Consumers must present proof of purchase on the original date of purchase to be eligible for warranty service.
  2. In the event of a Panram product failure, Panram will repair or replace the product with a new or defective product as determined by Panram. In special cases, Panram may decide to replace the product with a product of similar function or refund the product based on its depreciated value.
  3. For products that are out of warranty or for which the warranty does not apply, Panram may decide to repair or replace parts after examining the product and will charge a fee for each repair and replacement service at its discretion.

Limited Warranty

This warranty does not cover damage to the product caused by unnatural or external factors, and Panram is not responsible for the data contained in the stored product.

  1. If the product fails due to natural disaster, human misuse or other factors other than the product itself.
  2. When the product is repaired or disassembled by a technician not authorized by the Company.
  3. When the warranty label or tamper-proof label is altered, damaged or lost.
  4. When the serial number of the product does not match or is damaged or unclear.

Disclaimer

  1. Panram Technologies is solely responsible for the repair and testing of our products and does not provide rescue or backup services for data stored in our products. We are not responsible for any loss of data stored in our products due to any factor.
  2. Panram Technologies is not responsible for any defective or damaged products or lost data caused by any factor during the delivery of the product for repair, and recommends that you back up all data stored in our products and delete them from the product before sending it in for repair.
  3. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Panram Technologies shall not be liable for any loss of profits, loss of anticipated costs, loss of data, or other indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of our products.
  4. Panram’s products are not designed for high security use and we do not recommend that you use our products in life support equipment or other equipment where a defect or failure of the product could result in personal injury or death, including but not limited to medical or related equipment, military or related equipment, aircraft, traffic control equipment, disaster prevention systems, combustion control systems, or nuclear energy equipment. If our products are used in such applications, we will not be liable for any personal injury or death and any damages arising from such applications.

Other Disclaimer

  1. The foregoing warranty is sole and exclusive, supersedes all other oral or written agreements, and is not accompanied by any other warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, express or implied, not contained herein.
  2. If the laws of a particular country/region impose a maximum warranty period on a product, Panram Technologies will provide technical support and warranty services to consumers in that particular country/region to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of that country/region.
  3. If the laws of a particular country/region do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, Panram Technologies acknowledges that such implied warranties are valid only for the duration of Panram Technologies’ express warranty in that particular country/region.

Who the warranty applies to

The Panram Technologies Warranty applies only to consumers who have purchased our products through legitimate sales channels.

Warranty Period

  • Memory Modules:

Panram Technology’s full range of Panram brand memory modules are covered by a lifetime warranty, i.e., seven years of free repair service from the date of purchase if the product is damaged by natural causes. (Lifetime warranty is defined as “the product warranty lasts until one year after the product is discontinued”)

  • USB Flash Drive:

Panram Technology’s full range of Panram brand USB flash drives are covered by a lifetime warranty, which means that if the product is damaged due to natural factors, it will enjoy seven years free repair service from the date of purchase. (Lifetime warranty is defined as “the product warranty lasts until one year after the product is discontinued”)

  • Flash Memory Card:

Panram Technology’s full line of Panram brand flash memory cards are covered by a lifetime warranty, which means that the product is covered by a seven-year free repair service from the date of purchase if the product is damaged due to natural causes. (Lifetime warranty is defined as “the product warranty lasts until one year after the product is discontinued”)

* The Panram Lifetime Warranty does not apply to the use of Panram memory cards for long term cyclic writing, such as car recorders, surveillance equipment, etc.
  • SSDs:

Panram Technology warrants to the purchaser of the SSD in its original packaging (the “Original Purchaser”) and to the purchaser of the computer system in which the Original Purchaser created the product (the “Original System Customer”) that the Panram SSD is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and proper installation, and that the SSD in its original sealed packaging (A) three (3) years from the date of purchase by the “original purchaser” of the SSD in the original sealed packaging; or (B) the warranty period will expire when the SSD reaches “0%” of the WEAR-OUT INDICATOR, which can be downloaded from Panram’s official website. This data can be obtained from the Panram SSD Info Utility available for download from the official Panram website. A new, unused SSD will have a WEAR-OUT INDICATOR value of “100%” and if the SSD has reached the data write endurance limit, the WEAR-OUT INDICATOR value will be displayed as “0%”. If this Limited Warranty product does not meet the above warranty conditions within the warranty period, Panram may elect to

  1. Repair the SSD with hardware/software.
  2. replace the product with another equivalent product.

This Limited Warranty and any implied warranties under any applicable state, federal, provincial or local law apply only to you, as the original purchaser of the SSD, or to the original purchaser of the computer system containing the Product, and only for as long as such original purchaser owns the Product. This warranty shall terminate if the original system customer sells or otherwise transfers the computer system containing this product.

limited warranty coverage

Panram does not warrant that SSDs are designed to be free from known defects or errors. Also, this Limited Warranty does not cover the following.
  1. Any costs incurred in repairing or replacing SSDs, including labor, installation or other expenses incurred by you, and in particular all costs associated with the removal or replacement of any printed circuit boards soldered or permanently attached to them.
  2. Damage to the SSD due to external factors including accidents, electrical failure problems, abnormal electrical, mechanical or environmental conditions, misuse, abuse, negligence, modification, repair, improper installation or improper testing not in accordance with the product’s instructions for use ;
  3. modification or manipulation of any product, or removal, alteration or destruction of the original product identifier (trademark or serial number) without following Panram’s published specifications for current use.
  4. Any product whose use has reached the endurance limit written in the data, i.e., when the SMART Attribute (E9) is tested at 1, will be treated as described above.

How to obtain after-sales warranty service

To obtain warranty service for SSDs (whether purchased in their original packaging or included with your computer system), please contact the original place of purchase or Panram as instructed. Customer Service Center during the warranty period and return the SSD to the designated Customer Service Center. (Please refer to the contact information of your local Customer Service Center listed below. Please have the following information available first.

  1. Your name, mailing address, email address and phone number
  2. Proof of purchase of the SSD
  3. The SSD model name and identification mark.

After the Customer Service Center confirms that the SSD is still under warranty, the Customer Service Center will give you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instruct you how to return the product to the designated Customer Service Center. Panram will not accept returned Products without an RMA number on the outside of the packaging or with an invalid RMA number. Please be sure to ship the returned Product to the designated Customer Service Center in its original packaging or equivalent, prepaid, and at your own risk of damage or loss during shipment. If your product was not purchased from an authorized dealer in your country/region, shipping and/or handling charges may apply when requesting warranty service. (Please contact your regional Customer Service Center for the definition of your country/region.

Panram may repair or replace the Product with a new or refurbished product or component, as necessary, and Panram's Customer Service Center will ship the repaired or replacement Product to you within a reasonable period of time after receipt of the returned Product, with shipping charges paid by Panram. Upon receipt of the returned Product by the Customer Service Center, the Product shall become the property of Panram. The replaced Product is covered by this written warranty and will be covered by a ninety (90) day after-sales warranty or the original after-sales warranty will apply, whichever is longer, subject to the same limitations and exclusions. If Panram decides to replace the Product, it will not extend the Limited After-Sales Warranty period for this Product.

limitations and exclusions of the after-sales warranty

this post-sale warranty is in lieu of all other warranties with respect to the product, and panram disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, merchantability and usage of trade. some countries (or jurisdictions) do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you. all express and implied warranties are valid only for the duration of this limited post-sale warranty. no warranty shall apply after that period. some states (or jurisdictions) do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

limitation of liability

Panram's liability, expressed or implied, under this or any other warranty is limited to repair, replacement or refund as described above. these are the sole and exclusive remedies for breach of warranty. to the maximum extent legally possible, panram shall not be liable for any direct, special, incidental or consequential damages for breach of warranty or other legal theory (including, without limitation, damages to business interests, service interruption, loss of business reputation, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, and any costs incurred to restore, reprogram or recreate any programs or data stored or used in the system incorporating the Product). Panram shall not be liable for any loss of reputation, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, and any expenses incurred in restoring, reprogramming or reproducing any programs or data stored or used in the system containing the Product, even if Panram has been advised of the possibility of such damage. some countries (or jurisdictions) do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so you may not be subject to such limitation or exclusion.


This Limited Warranty gives you certain legal rights, and you may have other rights depending on state or jurisdictional regulations.


Any and all disputes arising under or relating to this Limited Warranty shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the following courts and shall be governed by the following laws: For the United States, Canada, North and South America, the courts of Santa Clara County, California, and the laws of the State of Delaware shall apply. For the Asia Pacific region (except Mainland China), the courts of Singapore shall be the courts of Singapore and the laws of Singapore shall apply. For Europe and the rest of the world, it shall be the courts of London and the laws of England and Wales shall apply.

Gaming Peripherals:

Panram Technology’s full range of gaming keyboards are covered by a one-year warranty, i.e., free repair if the product is damaged by natural causes during the warranty period from the date of purchase.

Note :
  1. If the laws of a particular country/region limit the maximum warranty period for a product, Panram Technologies will provide technical support and warranty services to consumers in that particular country/region to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  2. If the laws of a particular country/region do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, Panram Technologies acknowledges that such implied warranties are only valid in that particular country/region for the duration of Panram Technologies’ express warranty.

Services Provided by Authorized Service Center

  1. On-site replacement service for mainstream specification memory disks and cards (Mainstream specification memory disks and cards are subject to market conditions)
  2. On-site replacement service for mainstream memory modules (Mainstream memory is subject to market conditions)
  3. Repair service for all series of products

Other Notes

  1. For products with storage function, please backup the original data in the product before sending it to Panram for repair.
  2. Some products are repaired by spare parts replacement, so the repaired product may not be the original product.
  3. Due to rapid product replacement, Panram Technologies will replace the product with an equivalent “replacement” if the product is discontinued or no longer serviced by the original manufacturer.
  4. If the authorized center has no spare parts for consumers to replace the product, it will provide the same group of product specifications for replacement, or handle the product by receiving and delivering the repair products, Panram does not provide different capacity replacement and specified particle cycle service.
